Common Monsters refer to basic enemies that encompass the majority of the mobs that players will encounter. These monsters have simple behaviors unlike Elite and Boss enemies. Common monsters are often found in groups and killing them has a chance to spawn another Common monster.

Description[]

Common Monsters vary in size, but oftentimes they have the same size as the player's character.

Common monsters are numerous, there are rooms wherein only Common monsters can be found. These rooms are non-Elite rooms for Abyss Layers and non-special rooms for Hell Isle Chapters.

There are also Common monsters that only exist after being spawned by certain enemies. These mobs can be a part of the spawner's abilities and mechanics.

Behavior[]

Common monsters have basic AIs. They can be ranged wherein they deal damage by shooting damaging projectiles and melee wherein they deal damage upon close contact with players or using short-ranged projectiles.

Some spawn other Common monsters as well (e.g. Sheepherder).

Upon death, Common monsters drop gold and give EXP to players. The amount seems to be based on the dungeon's level and if the dungeon is Abyss Layers or Hell Isle Rooms although further testing is required for confirmation.

Common monsters also give progression points in the progression bar.

There is also a chance that they will spawn another Common monster in their place. The succeeding monster will have diminished chances of spawning another Common monster again, with the exception for Slimes.
